Here is a small update on my self portrait “Pain” 9 x 12 graphite on @strathmoreart 300 Bristol Smooth paper. I’m slowly building up the values, tones, and texture of my skin on my nose. I don’t use any blending tools. I love to create texture of skin by slowly layering my graphite. I use @pentelofamerica P205 mechanical pencil with Pentel 4H, 2H, H, F, HB, B, 2B, and 4B Hi-Polymer graphite. I also use @prismacolor Turquoise graphite pencils 6H through 9B for larger areas.
